Licence Print Check is an independent website that helps drivers in Nepal find out whether their DOTM smart card driving licence has been printed, without queuing at a transport office to ask. You type your licence number, you get an answer.
Why We Built This
After the trial exam, most applicants wait 30 to 45 working days for the card to print. During that wait the usual options are a paid SMS, a government portal that is slow at peak hours, or a trip to the office to ask a clerk. People end up travelling for a one-word answer.
We built a single page that searches 1.3M+ print records and returns the status in seconds. It is free, it needs no account, and it works on a basic phone.
What You Will Find Here
- The print status checker on our home page, free and with no login
- Step-by-step guides covering how to apply online, renewal, duplicate cards, adding a vehicle category, and the documents each one needs
- Exam preparation for the written test and the trial, including the parts where most people lose marks
- Fees, timelines, and validity rules updated for 2026
Where Our Information Comes From
Print status data is sourced from records published by the Department of Transport Management (DOTM). Our guides are written from official DOTM notices, published fee schedules, and reports from applicants who have been through the process recently. We date every guide and revise it when rules change.
Government processes in Nepal change without much notice, and offices sometimes apply rules differently. Where our information conflicts with what your transport office tells you, the office is correct.
We Are Not a Government Website
Licence Print Check is a private, independent website. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by the Department of Transport Management, the Ministry of Physical Infrastructure and Transport, or any other government body in Nepal. We cannot issue licences, change your application, speed up printing, or access your personal file. For anything official, contact your Transport Management Office directly.
How the Site Is Funded
The Site is free for everyone and is funded by advertising, including Google AdSense. We never charge for a status check and we never ask for payment to speed up a licence. Anyone asking you for money in our name is not connected to us. Our Privacy Policy explains what advertising cookies are used and how to opt out of personalised ads.
